Biological safety cabinets

Biological safety cabinets (BSCs) are specialized pieces of equipment designed to protect laboratory personnel, the environment, and the product from exposure to hazardous biological agents. BSCs are used in laboratories to provide a safe and secure environment for the handling of hazardous materials. They are designed to contain and exhaust hazardous materials, while providing a barrier between the user and the hazardous material. BSCs are available in three classes: Class I, Class II, and Class III.
